About the company
As a state-owned company, EKUK’s main task is to be the state’s center of competence in the field of environmental research. EKUK conducts laboratory analyses and studies to determine the concentration of various substances in the environment and helps to identify the causes of environmental problems.
EKUK ensures high-quality and reliable environmental data for state supervisory functions and national environmental monitoring. EKUK advises the state on issues requiring laboratory analyses and complex studies and ensures the fulfillment of a large part of international obligations on issues concerning the state of the environment.
Our mission
We are committed to working together to preserve and improve the natural environment. We provide objective information based on accurate and model-based research on the state of the environment and the pressures on it.
Our vision
We are a competence center for environmental and climate research and the main state partner and advisor in complex environmental assessment and ensuring environmental sustainability.

OÜ Eesti Keskkonnauuringute Keskuse Õhukvaliteedi- ja kliimaosakonna spetsialistid käisid Vantaal Gasmet FTIR seadmete edasijõudnute täiendõppel.We had the pleasure of hosting specialists from the Estonian Environmental Research Centre at our Vantaa office this week. Their team works at the forefront of environmental measurements, including QAL2s and their toolbox includes Gasmet DX4000 and DX4015. It was great to support their continued development with hands-on FTIR training.
A big thank you to our visitors for the excellent collaboration, and to our own Gasmet experts for arranging a successful two-day training session.
